This article was written after Francina Boykin and Elio Singer presented at ASALH DTJ Branch's presentation series, "In Conversation" at the Winter Park Library on June 14th, 2026. The presentation covered Michael Gladden Jr.'s rise to prominence, his safekeeping practices, and how his artifact collection is being preserved through the Gladden Archive.
