A photograph of Company Commander H.T. Randall, MMC, and petty officers of Company 446 at the U.S. Naval Training Center, San Diego, California, dated July 23, 1952. The group of approximately fifteen sailors is posed outdoors on a lawn in front of a building with arched entryways and palm trees. Most of the men wear standard enlisted Navy uniforms with white sailor caps, while the commanding officer stands at the center in a dress uniform with a dark jacket. Two sailors in the front row kneel and hold crossed guidon flags: one bearing the number "446" and the other displaying the U.S. Naval Training Center, San Diego pennant with an anchor insignia.
